Judy's Beer Chili

I created this because Dave had some import beer that he did not like, so we decided to use it up in the chili! Dave loves it! And besides, it makes the meat very tender. -Judy LaBoda

unfavorite beer

beef base

onion, chopped, to taste

garlic clove, chopped

peppers, to taste

kidney beans

spicy chili beans

diced tomatoes with peppers

cumin, to taste

chili powder, to taste

Cook the meat and beer together until the red from the meat is gone and the beer foam disappears. Add the onions, garlic, and peppers. Cook until tender. Add the beans, tomatoes and spices. Cook until tomatoes have cooked down nicely and serve with sour cream and cheddar cheese. And of course, your favorite beer!
